Each piece in this series begins with an underlying structure or pattern, yet the viewer is witness only to hints of what was. Through covering and uncovering, exploring new shapes and marks, the intimacy of getting to know oneself as well as an-other is considered.  In reflecting upon each piece, there is an invitation to experience curiosity of what has been, of what is, and of what can be, within us and in others. Each step of creating was moment in time captured; now as witness, one can anticipate, or at least wonder, where each piece, and each of us, may be headed on our journey in life.
